Patanjali varsity hosts seminar on soil health, sustainable herb farming

A two-day seminar on ‘Soil Health Testing and Management for Sustainable Cultivation of Quality Herbs’ took place in Patanjali University, Haridwar October 27 to 28, 2025.
It was a joint effort of the Ministry of ‘AYUSH, Patanjali Organic Research Institute, and NABARD in collaboration with Bharuwa Agriscience.
This program was the first installment of the “Swasth Dhara” campaign. It is a global awareness initiative that sheds light on the importance of soil health and food security facilitated by innovative tools like the automatic soil testing machine called “Dhartika Doctor” (DKD).
