Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi Friday said that achieving excellence at every level of skill development is the government's core objective, asserting that skilled youth will find ample employment opportunities within Odisha itself as the state undergoes rapid industrialisation.
Addressing students at the closing ceremony of Odisha Skill Competition 2025-26, the CM encouraged the youth to make themselves proficient in specific fields, stating that Odisha's expanding industrial ecosystem will generate sustained employment opportunities locally. "Odisha's skilled youth will find ample job opportunities within the state itself as we're undergoing rapid industrialisation," Majhi said.
A total of 157 students were awarded medals for their outstanding performance in the competition. While 54 students received gold medals, 53 silver and 50 bronze.
