2 held for murder bid on constable

A constable was allegedly stabbed in broad daylight near Sai Mandir in the heart of Phulbani town Friday in what police described as an attempt to murder.
Police have arrested two persons in connection with the attack.
The injured constable has been identified as Manoranjan Sabat. He was initially treated at a local hospital in Phulbani and later shifted to MKCG Medical College and Hospital in Berhampur after his condition was reported to be critical.
