Tram park and ride order to put brakes on car cruisers

A NOTTINGHAMSHIRE council has clamped down on car cruising and antisocial behaviour at a tram park and ride following a spate of incidents.
Broxtowe Borough Council has extended a public spaces protection order (PSPO) for Chilwell Retail Park to include Toton Lane tram stop’s park and ride, following “welldocumented" issues at the site.
The order prohibits a number of activities, such as performing stunts in vehicles, wheel spins, racing motor vehicles, driving at excessive speeds or accelerating aggressively and driving in a convoy.
