Supporting new charity shop will help to the keep air ambulance flying

CHARITY Your Local Air Ambulance flew almost 1,000 missions in Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire, last year, providing care from the air to those who need help in the fastest time possible.

The charity receives no NHS funding and is reliant on donations from the public and its network of retail outlets to fund every mission.

Yesterday, it opened its latest shop in Long Eaton.

The new branch is in High Street, which is due to receive a £10 million revamp beginning in the spring.
