DEAL WITH GREEN SUPPLIER ENSURES NO BILLS FOR AT LEAST FIVE YEARS
THE first residents are moving into part of a huge new housing estate where they will not have to pay energy bills for several years.
Dozens of new homes being built next to Boots’ headquarters in Beeston will not have to pay energy bills for five to ten years, as part of a partnership between housing association Platform Housing Group and Octopus Energy.
Platform Housing Group, which started to build 319 homes off Thane Road early last year, will put 82 of these new properties at its Trentside development on to Octopus’ ‘Zero Bills’ tariff.
