REFORM UK has announced its full cabinet as it takes control of Nottinghamshire County Council - confirming who will be in charge of issues ranging from potholes to adult social care.

Reform's top team in charge of county council issues

The party had already announced that Mick Barton would become the new leader of the county council, with Dr John Doddy serving as his deputy.

Ahead of Reform’s first full meeting in charge of the county council on Thursday, the party has now confirmed who it has chosen to serve in eight different cabinet positions. Cabinet members at the county council oversee a particular area of the authority's services and have the power to take some decisions on their own.

Cabinet members also receive a much higher salary from the county council than ordinary councillors. The most recent figures available show all Nottinghamshire county councillors get a basic allowance of £16,925. Cabinet members get an additional allowance of £26,195 on top of this, taking their total pay to £43,120. The leader's total salary is around £56,000, whilst the deputy leader's is £44,000.

Below are all those that Reform have chosen to serve in eight different cabinet positions and what we know about them so far.
