A NEW bar is being planned in a historic part of Nottingham's city centre as a transformation plan for two empty buildings shifts its focus.

A scheme to turn the Victorian buildings at the corner of Woolpack Lane and Stoney Street, Lace Market, into a new bar or café, a shop, and apartments was previously given permission by Nottingham City Council.
