NOTTS County were unable to end their preseason trip to Germany with a victory as Martin Paterson rued missed opportunities from his side

The Magpies drew 1-1 with Stuttgarter Kickers in their third and final game of their training camp in Germany, following defeats against Darmstadt and FC Kaiser-slautern.

Rod McDonald opened the scoring for Notts in the first half, but they could not press their advantage further and were pegged back by the hosts, as the game ended in a stalemate.

Results aside, Paterson wants to see his team be more ruthless as they work their way through the latter stages of preseason, with the week away in Germany a great educational experience.

"I am disappointed not to have had more goals with the amount of territory and moments that we had," he said.
