Man hit with hammer as home raided

FIVE masked men broke into a property before hitting a man with a hammer and making off with valuables.

Police are appealing for the public's help after the gang smashed into the property off Knowle Lane, Kimberley, wearing dark clothing and carrying lump hammers/pickaxes at 7.30pm on Thursday, December 4.
A man inside the property was hit with a hammer before the masked men demanded valuables and access to a safe. The man has suffered bruising and swelling.
