NOTTINGHAMSHIRE is about to head to the polls for what could be the last-ever county council election.

The biggest shake-up to local government for 50 years means the May 1 election to the authority is set to be the last one before it is dissolved.
There are 66 seats across Nottinghamshire for the authority, which manages all high-level services outside the city.
This includes roads maintenance, social care and services for those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
