HOW TO BE AN EDUCATED FOLLOWER OF FASHION
-
Each to their own, of course, but I believe trends that require you to buy new clothes should be approached with caution.
Thanks to the speed social media moves, any investment you make could well be rendered obsolete before you even get your four wears (the dismally low number of times a recent survey found we wear each of our clothes on average).
I personally would avoid anything that ends with the suffix 'core' as in norm-core, Barbie-core. This season they're peddling fisherman-core and mermaid-core. By all means wear a cable knit and sequins but I would avoid getting caught up in this core nonsense.
