NOTTS County have sacked head coach Stuart Maynard after 16 months in charge.

The Magpies missed out on promotion to League One this season after losing to AFC Wimbledon 2-0 on aggregate in the play-off semi-finals.

Only one win in their final six games of the regular season saw Maynard's side finish sixth in League Two, six points adrift of the automatic promotion places.
