IT is a big week for Nottingham Forest as they prepare for the return of European football to the City Ground.

The Reds returned to the international stage for the first time in three decades last week with their 2-2 draw away to Real Betis. And now their Europa League adventure continues on home turf with the visit of FC Midtjylland.

Ange Postecoglou leads his side into tomorrow night's clash against the Danish outfit (8pm kickoff) still searching for his first win as Forest head coach. Saturday's 1-0 loss to Sunderland made it three defeats and two draws from his five games in charge.

The 60-year-old is well aware of the importance of turning that form around, starting in midweek.

With plenty happening at the club, here's a look at the latest goings-on Trentside.

Settling in

Getting used to the nuances of the Premier League can certainly take time for players coming from abroad. Summer signing Dan Ndoye has admitted English football has taken a bit of adapting to but he is convinced he will become a better player for the experience.

The Switzerland international winger has made seven appearances in the Garibaldi since joining from Bologna. He feels he is starting to find his feet after making the switch from Serie A, although has joked he does miss Italian food “a little”.

“My life has changed a lot compared to my previous stop in Bologna,” he told Swiss publication 20 Minuten. “But I feel very comfortable now and recently found a house.

“The infrastructure here is perfect for training, improving and adapting to the Premier League. I’m very happy to have the opportunity to become a better player here.
