VULNERABLE VICTIM HAS BEEN 'CHANGED' BY ORDEAL
A FORMER chef ran after a lone epileptic care worker down a dark alley- way and subjected her to a terrifying robbery.
Shocking CCTV played at Nottingham Crown Court showed 40-year-old Christopher Rogers, his face covered, run after the 35-year-old victim.
He then pulled her to the ground and dragged her along as she bravely fought back to stop him taking her handbag. In an impact statement the woman shared how she now feels "as if all of my compassion and care has been for nothing."
The heavily-convicted defendant sobbed in the dock as he was sent to prison.
