Collapse of airline that provided flights to Channel Islands from EMA

EAST Midlands Airport (EMA) has expressed its sadness over the collapse of an airline that provided direct flights to the Channel Islands.

Blue Islands, which has five aircraft in its fleet, had been expected to improve its existing daily schedule to and from EMA next summer.

This meant that there would have been direct flights to both Jersey and Guernsey during the week.
