NEWARK FIGHTER RETURNING TO RING AFTER NARROW RYAN LOSS
JADE Grierson will be looking to land a quick return to winning ways when she heads back into the ring next weekend.
The 34-year-old Newark fighter took the plaudits for a brave and dogged performance when she last fought in September, but ‘Greo’ saw her unbeaten record end at the hands of former World Champion Sandy Ryan up in Sunderland following a point decision.
However, Grierson, who boasts five wins and a draw from her seven-fight professional record, will be looking to rack up a sixth victory when she takes on debutant Toran Kelly at the town’s Lady Eastwood Centre on Saturday, November 22.
The bout is part of the ‘Road to Glory’ show being put on by Newark promotors Carl Greaves and Dean Sugden.
“I'm really looking forward to seeing Jade Grierson back in action at Newark Showground,’ said Greaves.
