Boxing club members past and present unite to raise funds for Scott

GENERATIONS of members of a community boxing club have set out to give back to their owner to thank him for his decades of work.

The family-owned Trinity Boxing Club was established in Ilkeston in 1975 and offers teen and adult classes for very low prices.

In 1992, Scott Rafferty took over the club and became head coach, providing amateur boxers with support and guidance.

"He is teaching them discipline, respect, hard work and heart, and he is giving everything to the club," said Ashley Brown, who has set up the fundraiser.
