KEEPER SAYS NOTTS GOING FOR WIN IN BOTH LEGS AGAINST DONS
KEEPER Alex Bass is ready for Notts County's play-off battle after dismissing any concerns his season was over.
He returned to action for the final two games of the League Two campaign following an injury suffered early in a match away against Grimsby Town in March, which kept him out for six weeks.
Experienced stopper Sam Slocombe filled in during Bass’ absence but the latter has been a key addition to the team this season and a big reason for their much-improved League Two position compared to their first term back in the EFL.
They are now focused on a play off semi-final battle against AFC Wimbledon, who Bass played for on loan last season before he joined the Magpies permanently from Sunderland last summer.
