A ROAD in Llandudno is closed for up to five weeks as part of a revamp of an historic structure.

Llandudno’s iconic Colonnade is undergoing a major restoration because it is “at risk”.

Conwy County Borough Council announced the joint investment of £800,000 by the UK Government Shared Prosperity Fund and the Welsh Government Brilliant Basics Fund. The 170-metre covered walkway is behind the Grand Hotel overlooking Llandudno Bay, Victorian pier and promenade.
