New scheme to get closer to nature

A PROGRAMME to engage people with nature in North Devon and help them take environmental action has been expanded to adults thanks to new funding.

Earth Action North Devon (EAND) has launched a brand-new Explorers Club for adults, thanks to funding from Sport England.

Building on the success of the charity's much-loved youth Ocean Explorers Academy programme, the new initiative will give 40 local adults the chance to get outside, connect with nature, and learn more about the environment on their doorstep.
