Church bells ring in honour of centenarian Marjorie

BELLS rang out in celebration as Marjorie Elliott marked her 100th birthday surrounded by her entire family for the first time, alongside 100 guests at a special gathering in North Devon.

Born Marjorie Grigg in June 1925 into a farming family at Looseham Farm, Monkleigh, she left Monkleigh Primary School at the age of 14 to work alongside her parents on the land.
