Chelsea date is highlight for gardening couple

A NORTH Devon-based nursery is showcasing its pollinator-friendly garden at the prestigious RHS Chelsea Flower Show for the first time in its 30-year history.

Gardeners Delight Nursery, a family-run operation in Barnstaple, will unveil a six-metre by four-metre containerised garden packed with up to 1,000 vibrant plants aimed at attracting butterflies, dragonflies, bees and other pollinators.

Designed with smaller urban spaces in mind, the display featured in the Great Pavilion as the show opened to the press on Monday.

Created by husband-and-wife team Nick and Hannah Wade, the garden responds to one of the most frequent questions asked at their nursery: how to entice pollinators into compact outdoor areas.
