Japanese auto major Toyota will launch electric vehicles (EV) as part of a multi-technology approach towards combating carbon emission in India, as EVs alone will not be able to tackle it, according to top company officials in India.
The firm said under the current circumstances, a strong hybrid is the most practical solution, supplemented by other technologies, like electric, flex fuel, electrified flex fuel, and plug-in hybrid.
