I am a married man, 35 years old, with two young children. At present, neither my wife nor I own any substantial assets, though we have nominees listed for some of our bank and demat accounts, as well as for our public provident fund and similar investments. Recently, we have been advised by financial professionals to create a will, but we are not sure if we are at the right stage in life to do so. Considering that we're still young and have limited assets, what is the appropriate age or stage in life to start making a will?
Any person who is of legal age and possesses a sound mind can create a will. It is advisable to draft a will keeping the following in mind:
