State government has asked the air force for three helicopters to aid rescue work
At least four people have died and over 50 are missing after a cloudburst triggered a massive landslide in Uttarakhand's Uttarkashi district on Tuesday. According to the state disaster management authority, several houses, shops, and hotels have been either damaged or swept away by the water. Also, the cloudburst cut off road connectivity to the sacred Gangotri Dham.
