Claims on maternal grandparents' assets

I am a Hindu. Can my siblings and I claim our share of my late grandparents' ₹10 crore property, despite my uncles withholding the papers with the two sisters, including my mother, having passed away? How should it be distributed?

If your grandparents did not leave a Will, their property should be divided according to the Hindu Succession Act (HSA), which applies to self-earned property. The assets should be equally divided among their six children (4 daughters and 2 sons). If any heirs have passed away, their share will be transferred to their legal heirs.
