Panasonic Energy India has appointed Akio Fujita as its chairman and managing director (CMD) to strengthen its business and distribution strategy in the region.

In his previous role, he was in charge of strategy at the Consumer Energy Business Unit, Panasonic Energy Company Ltd, based in Japan.
