In case you have an unpaid insurance claim, you have multiple ways to escalate the matter formally. You could first write to the grievance redressal officer of the insurer with full claim details. If the claim remains unresolved, you could then reach out to the complaints team at IRDAI. The next level of escalation would be approaching the appropriate courts for legal remedy.
