Namma Yatri shifts gears: Cabs power revenue growth engine

Bengaluru-based mobility startup Namma Yatri, which launched on-demand auto-rickshaw services three years ago, now generates a significant share of its revenue from cabs as it expands into Bhubaneswar, Chennai and Kolkata.
The startup initially launched on-demand auto services.

In an interview with Mint, Namma Yatri's chief operating officer Shanmugavel Mani Subbiah said around 40% of its revenue comes from the four-wheeler business launched in Bengaluru in 2024. About 55% is contributed by autos and 5% from bike taxis.
Beyond Bengaluru, Namma Yatri operates cabs and autos in Kolkata, Chennai, Bhubaneswar and Kochi and multiple tier-2 towns in Karnataka.
