NSE investor base triples after share transfer RULE CHANGE

India's largest stock exchange, the National Stock Exchange (NSE), has seen its unlisted share investor base triple in just over two weeks, jumping from around 20,000 to nearly 60,000.

MUMBAI: This surge follows a key regulatory shift allowing easier share transfers via the Delivery Instruction Slip (DIS) mechanism, introduced after the unfreezing of NSE's ISIN on March 24, 2025.
