NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday engaged in a detailed interaction with eminent economists and sectoral experts at NITI Aayog, ahead of the 2025-26 Union Budget. The discussion revolved around critical issues such as job creation, improving farm productivity, and mobilising public funds to accelerate infrastructure development.
Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman is slated to present the Union Budget in the Lok Sabha on February 1, 2025. The pre-budget consultation aimed at gathering actionable insights to navigate economic challenges and advance India's development trajectory.
According to an official statement, the Prime Minister emphasised that Viksit Bharat can be achieved through a fundamental change in mindset, which is focused towards making India developed by 2047.
