A tragic accident occurred early Sunday morning when a private bus carrying pilgrims fell into a 35-foot gorge near Saputara hill station in Gujarat's Dang district, resulting in five fatalities and 35 injuries

The incident took place at 4:15 am when the vehicle lost control and broke through the crash barrier.
The bus was transporting 48 pilgrims from Madhya Pradesh who were on a multi-state religious tour. The group had just taken a brief tea break at Saputara and was heading toward Dwarka in Gujarat from Trimbakeshwar, Maharashtra, when the accident occurred 2.5 kilometres from the hill station.
