The mission to guide youth energy towards positive development, says CM Mohan Yadav
In a significant decision, the Madhya Pradesh Cabinet chaired by Chief Minister Mohan Yadav on Tuesday granted in-principle approval to launch 'Vivekananda Yuva Shakti Mission' (VYSM) focusing on Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of empowering Gareeb, Yuva, Annadata and Naari (GYAN).
The mission will be officially launched on January 12 to mark the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, celebrated as National Youth Day.
Aiming to make India a developed country by 2047, PM Modi has outlined a vision focusing on the empowerment of 'GYAN,' which stands for Gareeb (the poor), Yuva (youth), Annadata (farmers), and Narishakti (women).
