The coveted book by 'Aajkaal Publishers' was launched by Satyam Roychowdhury, Chairman of 'Aajkaal. The book is available at the 'Aajkaal' stall at the book fair.'Mamata: Frames of Change' is a powerful visual chronicle of Mamata Banerjee's life and legacy. Through striking photographs, this book unveils the story of the 'extraordinarily ordinary woman' behind the trailblazing leader. It captures her journey her struggles, leadership, creative expressions and deep-rooted love for literature, cinema, sports, poetry, art and culture while reflecting her unwavering bond with the people of Bengal.
The essence of this book lies in its photographs. It opens with a historic image - a cartoon of Banerjee by Kutty. Divided into various chapters, the book begins with "The Loving Daughter. The motherly affection that writer and social activist Mahasweta Devi had for her is well known, making the image in this section self-explanatory.
