Singer-songwriter Waltz is back with a hauntingly beautiful new single, "Cold Soup," and it's set to tug at heartstrings with its raw emotion and introspective storytelling.

Waltz returns with 'Cold Soup'

WALTZ performs at Viva Cafe in Araneta City

This new song certifies Waltz's unique artistry, diving into the silent ache of love that lingers in familiarity rather than passion.

"Cold Soup" captures the moment when love no longer screams but whispers as it slowly and quietly vanishes.

During an interview at Viva Cafe in Araneta City, Waltz shared, ""Cold Soup' came from that space where love doesn't hurt loud anymore. It just gets quiet. Yung tipong pagod ka na, pero andun ka pa rin kasi sanay ka na sa sakit. (The kind where you're tired, but you're still there because you're used to the pain.)"

Waltz describes the song as a reflection of "love na paulit-ulit, hindi mo na alam kung totoo pa ba o comfort zone na lang. (Love is so repetitive, you don't know if it's true or just a comfort zone.)"

Today is my hour, tomorrow is yours!

At the gate of an old cemetery, a weathered sign bore a chilling message: “Today is my hour; tomorrow is yours.” It was as if the dead themselves were speaking, reminding us that we, too, shall die. The message awakens a fear that we often pretend does not exist.
