Transport groups unite behind Ako Ilocano Ako Party-list

Backing a Stronger Future for Drivers, Operators, and Commuters

QUEZON CITY – Over 300 representatives from the country’s largest transport groups have declared their full support for the Ako Ilocano Ako Party-list, recognizing its unwavering commitment to championing the rights and welfare of drivers, operators, and passengers.

During a gathering on Thursday, leaders from Stop and Go Transport Coalition, Federation of Jeepney Operators and Drivers Association of the Philippines (FEJODAP), Liga ng Transportasyon at Operators sa Pilipinas, Inc. (LTOP, Inc.), and Pasang Masda pledged their solidarity with the party-list’s fight for fair regulations, sustainable livelihood programs, and a modern yet inclusive transportation system.

“Matagal nang nahihirapan ang transport sector sa taas ng presyo ng gasolina, pabago-bagong patakaran, at hamon ng modernization. Pero natunayan ng Ako Ilocano Ako na sila ay tunay na kakampi—nakikinig sa aming hinaing at nagtutulak ng tunay na solusyon,” said LTOP, Inc. national president Orlando Marquez.
