San Juan City, LCP extend aid to earthquake-hit Cebu

The San Juan City government and the League of Cities of the Philippines (LCP) have sent financial aid amounting to P3 million to the province of Cebu following the magnitude 6.9 earthquake that hit the province on Sept. 30.
San Juan City Mayor and LCP National President Francis Zamora went to the province on Saturday, Oct. 11, to personally hand over the checks to Cebu Gov. Pam Baricuatro and Mayor Mayel Martinez of Bogo City, where the epicenter of the quake was located.
Zamora said the Bogo City government received P1 million from San Juan City and another P1 million from the LCP.
He also handed a check for P1 million to Gov. Baricuatro, courtesy of San Juan City.
