Ramos, Agad deliver silver medals

The Philippine weightlifting team banked on Rosegie Ramos and Fernando Agad Jr. after collecting four silver medals in the 2025 Asian Weightlifting Championships in Jiangshan, China over the weekend.
Agad made his presence felt in the squad after delivering the first silver medal in the men's 55kg clean & jerk, lifting 140 kilos in his second attempt -- five kilos lighter than eventual gold medalist Wang Weidong of China. He earlier posted 113 kilos in snatch for fourth place.
