Local industries get huge boost with approval of ‘Tatak Pinoy’ Strategy

President Marcos has approved and ordered the implementation of the Tatak Pinoy Strategy (TPS), which aims to strengthen local industries, boost production of local products, and enhance the competitiveness of Filipino offerings of goods and services.

In a statement, the Presidential Communications Office (PCO) on Wednesday, Oct. 29, described the strategy as a comprehensive national plan that will bring the local industries to the global stage.
Marcos signed Memorandum Circular No. 104, which directs all all national government agencies, government-owned or -controlled corporations (GOCCs), and local government units (LGUs) to support the implementation of the strategy.
