"Marami akong gustong ipagpasalamat pero siguro for 2025, 'yung pagpasok ko sa Star Magic. At first nakaka-intimidate talaga yung challenge (sa buhay ko) pero buti naman nalampasan ko yun at lumalaban tayo everyday. It changed my life because I was given the avenue to do what I want to do, which is to perform. (I have a lot to be thankful for, but for 2025, it's joining Star Magic. At first, the challenge (in my life) was really intimidating, but luckily, I overcame it, and we fight every day. It changed my life because it gave me an avenue for what I want to do, which is to perform," said Jarlo, during an interview after his performance.
In October, Jarlo was introduced as one of the celebrity contestants for the ABS-CBN reality show Your Face Sounds Familiar (YFSF). The musician said he enjoys working with Rufa Mae Quinto, Vhong Navarro, and Jhong Hilario.
"Napakabait niyang tao (Rufa Mae). Yung pagpapatawa niya galing talaga sa puso niya. On and off the set kinukwento niya yung nangyari sa kanya sa buhay at nakaka-inspire kung paano siya lumalaban. (She (Rufa Mae) is such a kind person. Her humor really comes from her heart. On and off the set, she talks about what happened to her in life and it's inspiring how she fights back.)"
