The cast and director of "Good Boy" during the press conference in Seoul (Prime Video)
Park Bo-gum, Kim So-hyun, and Lee Sang-yi attended a red carpet ceremony, press conference, and screening for the series at the IconSiam shopping center in Bangkok on May 31, the same day the series premiered on Prime Video in the Philippines and over 240 territories worldwide. Before this, the cast and crew had a press conference in Seoul.
"Good Boy" series tells the story of former medal-winning athletes who become police officers and fight in a world full of criminals. Yun Dong-ju (Park Bo-gum), Ji Han-na (Kim So-hyun), Kim Jong-hyeon (Lee Sang-yi), Ko Man-sik (Heo Sung-tae), and Shin Jae-hong (Tae Won-seok) form a rag-tag team who seek to take down the forces behind a large crime group. With plenty of laughs and exciting action, "Good Boy" is set to entertain viewers worldwide.
Here are five reasons why viewers should watch “Good Boy”:
1) Amazing cast and crew
“Good Boy” has a star-studded lineup. Director Sim Na-yeon previously won the Best Drama Award at the 2021 Baeksang Arts Awards for the series “Beyond Evil.” Her previous series, “The Good Bad Mother was also a popular hit.
Writer Lee Dae-il is known for hit series including “Life on Mars,” “Bring It On Ghost,” and “Chief of Staff.”
“Good Boy” is Park Bo-gum’s new acting project after the very successful “When Life Gives You Tangerines.” This is also a reunion between Park Bo-gum and Kim So-hyun, who worked together 10 years ago as hosts for an awards ceremony.
Oh Jung-se is known for being a chameleon-like actor and impressed through roles in series like “Revenant” and “It’s Okay to Not Be Okay.”
