Confiscation of Zaldy Co's luxury cars legal, says PNP

There was nothing illegal and irregular in the confiscation of luxury vehicles owned by former Ako Bikol party-list representative Zaldy Co, the Philippine National Police (PNP) emphasized on Sunday, Jan. 11, amid legal issues raised by the lawyer of the fugitive ex-solon.

Acting PNP chief Lt. Gen. Jose Melencio C. Nartatez, Jr. said the operation was carried out under valid and existing legal authority and all steps followed due process and complied with the law.
