A night of honoring Filipino writers and their craft

To bring home a Carlos Palanca Memorial Award for Literature is one of the highest honors any local writer can receive. This year, more than 54 writers earned that distinction after the Diamond Jubilee celebration held in Makati City on Nov. 26, 2025.
Competition was tough, with a whopping 2,359 entries to sift through and 57 judges eventually narrowing them down to 58 winning works.
