Cebu Pac opens Riyadh service

Budget carrier Cebu Pacific is set to launch a new, direct air service between Manila and Riyadh, the capital of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, starting March next year, offering overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) more affordable and accessible travel options.
In a statement on Tuesday, Dec. 9, Cebu Pacific President and Chief Commercial Officer Xander Lao said the Gokongwei-led carrier will operate flights four times weekly, expanding its Middle East network starting March 1, 2026.
The new direct service is designed to make it easier and more affordable for OFWs to fly to Saudi Arabia or be reunited with their loved ones in the Philippines, Lao said.
