CAMPI marks 30 years of driving Philippine mobility forward

The country's leading automotive industry association, the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines, Inc. (CAMPI), commemorated its 30th anniversary with a grand gala held at the Grand Hyatt Manila in Taguig City. Themed "30 Years and Beyond: Together, Driving the Future of Mobility," the event gathered key government officials, industry stakeholders, and representatives from CAMPI's 28 member companies.

Department of Transportation (DoTr) Secretary, Vicencio "Vince" Dizon, led the roster of esteemed guests, underscoring the government's commitment to collaborative efforts in shaping the nation's mobility landscape.

"Since CAMPI was formed three decades ago, the association has made significant strides in enabling automotive manufacturing and advancing motorization in the country," said Hon. Jose Chaves Alvarez, Chairman of CAMPI. "This resulted in the industry's unmatched collective contribution to the economy and in improving the lives of Filipinos - both from the side of the automotive labor force and the customers and end users of various mobility services and solutions. We could have not done this without our inter-industry collaboration and our partnership with government institutions."

"After 30 fruitful years of CAMPI, especially when the mobility industry is in the middle of another great transformation, we commit to be ready for what's beyond. That is why tonight is more than just celebrating our glorious past. It is about creating the future of mobility as one united CAMPI," Alvarez added.

Charting the road ahead

As CAMPI enters its fourth decade, the organization is charting a forward-looking course through a strategic framework built on four key pillars that respond to the rapidly evolving automotive landscape.
