And they did, as Bella Belen, Alyssa Solomon, and Angel Canino led Alas Pilipinas with a stunning win over erstwhile unbeaten Kazakhstan, 25-21, 25-15, 25-19, to secure a semifinal spot in the 2025 AVC Women's Volleyball Nations Cup at the Dong Anh Gymnasium in Hanoi, Vietnam Thursday, June 12.
The Filipina hitters, bannered by Belen, Solomon, and Canino, defied tall odds after delivering superb performances for the world No. 47 PH team against the No. 30 Kazakhstan.
