New lease of life for old baths

WORK to transform the old Denton Baths site into an apartment block is set to be completed by spring 2027.

Prior to its demolition in 2020, the swimming baths had fallen into a state of disrepair, leading to the relocation of the leisure facilities to the new Tameside Wellness Centre.
After the plot sat vacant for years, planning permission to build 35 apartments was approved in October 2024.
