MUM SUFFERS HORRIFIC INJURIES IN ROAD SMASH
A MUM says her life has been ruined following a hit-and-run that left her with horrific injuries.
Kirsty Pickering , 38, suffered two broken legs, a broken arm, cracked ribs and cuts to her face in the smash earlier this month.
She may be unable to walk for at least 12 weeks, medics have told her.
The self-employed dog walker fears she may be unable to work.
Kirsty said she parked her van outside her parents’ home in Bredbury, Stockport, when the incident happened.
The road was closed for three hours as police investigators attended.
Kirsty was taken by ambulance to Stepping Hill Hospital.
She said: “I had been working, and then gone to the gym. I was collecting my son from my parents’ home in Stockport Road West.
