DALOT MORE TO COME AS DIOGO MARKS 150TH GAME

UNITED defender Diogo Dalot has “so much more to accomplish” in his career after making his 150th appearance in the Premier League against Crystal Palace on Sunday.

Ruben Amorim questioned his options at left wing-back ahead of the trip to Selhurst Park, admitting Dalot and Patrick Dorgu weren't performing on matchdays as well as they were during training.

Dalot was recalled to the starting team to face Palace and delivered an improved performance. The Portugal international was the United player with the most duels won and was responsible for winning the foul that led to the second goal, a display which earned praise from Amorim.

When asked whether Dalot’s display was the benchmark for a player in that role, Amorim said: "It's of course defending and attacking. If you have certain characteristics, the pace, you can go right or left because you also can play with your left.
